In the heart of vibrant London, “Talk” tells the deeply moving story of Jeremiah, a young, talented, black British artist. Having recently lost his father, a jovial man who supported Jeremiah’s artistic dreams, Jeremiah is now faced with navigating the jagged terrain of grief and healing, while also reconciling with his traditionalist mother.
It was a great experience working on this project behind the scenes from predevelopment to post-production. During the early stages, it meant designing the treatment and ideating the short film’s word mark. After filming, my workload looked like: curating the poster design, their alternate character designs, the Yoruba subtitles, as well as the opening & closing titles.
